DMSO Treatment
Expert guidance on the use of DMSO for a wide range of conditions
About DMSO Treatment
Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a simple, natural organosulfur compound that is remarkably effective for treating a wide variety of health conditions (e.g., chronic pain, injuries, arthritis, strokes, spinal cord injuries, a variety of autoimmune conditions, and other “untreatable” conditions). Over the past 40 years, more than 10,000 articles on the biological implications and 30,000 articles on the chemistry of DMSO have appeared in the scientific literature. However, like many highly effective, non-patentable treatments, DMSO has been lost to history when the industry could not profit off of its use.
We provide expert guidance on DMSO treatment for a number of conditions, including but not limited to:
- Autoimmune Conditions (ie: Interstitial Cystitis, Lupus, Asthma, Multiple Sclerosis)
- Circulatory Disorders (ie: varicose veins, Reynaud’s)
- Neurological Conditions (ie: TBIs, spinal cord injuries, dementia)
- Chronic Pain
- Wound and Injury Healing
- Rheumatic Conditions (ie: arhritis)
- Protein Misfolding Disorders (ie: Amyloidosis)

Provider Appointments
Our DMSO treatment plans are for patients seeking expert guidance on the use of topical and oral DMSO*. Our providers are well-versed for different protocols based upon the condition for which a patient is being seen. The condition for which a patient approaches us about also determines the frequency in which they are seen. All new patients have an hour long intake. However, some go on to receive a high level of 1:1 support, which would include two 30 minute followups and nursing support. Patients receive this level of support for DMSO treatment when they are being treated for complex, multi-system illnesses (ie: amyloidosis, autoimmune conditions, etc…). When patients are being seen for more straightforward conditions, such as pain management or wound healing, they will have a single 30 minute followup after their hour long intake.

*While we can provide some guidance on IV DMSO, patients are responsible for identifying clinics that can provide such a service, and those clinics are responsible for the safe administration of IV DMSO
Pricing
DMSO treatment programs can be broken down into two categories.
First, for non-complicated conditions and uses, patients have a 1 hour video appointment with a provider, and a 30 minute followup to be used in the following 6 month period. The cost of the program is $650. There is limited nursing support in this program.
Second, for complex, multi-system conditions, patients have a 1 hour video appointment with a provider, and two 30 minute followups to be used in a 4 month period. These patients also receive support from our RN staff.
Patients can call the office to book appointments on an as-needed basis for a fee, after using up the two appointments

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if DMSO treatment is right for me?
If you are interested in DMSO treatment for an existing condition, or for promoting overall well-being, contact our office and tell us more about what you have going on. We will be happy to advise if we think DMSO treatment is right for you. As outlined on this page, DMSO shows efficacy across a large number of conditions, including but not limited to: autoimmunity, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, injuries of all varieties, chronic pain management, protein misfolding disorders (such as amyloidosis), dementia, lupus, interstitial cystitis, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, inflammatory bowel disorders, infectious diseases, eczema, herpes, shingles, diabetic ulcers, varicose veins, pulmonary fibrosis, pancreatitis, BPH, macular degeneration, tinnitus, sinusitis, fibromyalgia, gout, etc…
What if I just want to know how to use DMSO for a complex condition?
There are situations where patients come to us only wanting to learn about the use of DMSO for the treatment of a particular condition, where we may know additional things that may help with said condition. A conversation will be had about expectations prior to scheduling, outlining whether or not a patient is interested in hearing everything we have to say. There are some situations where it may present a moral dilemma to not notify patients of additional treatment alternatives. Patients will be notified if this is the case, so they understand more than DMSO will be covered in an appointment
What about IV DMSO?
Since we are a telehealth practice, we are unable to see patients in-person to deliver IV DMSO. If patients are able to locate somewhere local to them that can facilitate IV treatments, we can provide guidance to be followed.
