About Weight Management
According to The Lancet, nearly 75% of US adults are overweight or obese. Over 80% of patients with coronary heart disease are overweight, 11.6% of Americans are diabetic, and 58% of overweight adults have high blood pressure. Some of the overweight male population has a life expectancy up to 22% lower than average.
While all of the above stats are frightening, we are hopeful because patients are mostly in direct control of the decisions and factors that can lead to their weight gain and loss. However, these things are complicated. Weight gain can lead to changes in hormone production and metabolism that can cause more weight gain. It can become a difficult cycle to stop without proper guidance.
Our board certified obesity medicine practitioner provides personalized plans for individuals who want to lose weight, and keep it off. Read on to learn more about our Weight Management program, including visit info, FAQs, additional resources, costs, etc…

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to see success?
Patients can expect to see small changes quickly. However, it takes time and consistency to see long-term results and changes in metabolism, hormonal rebalancing, and significant and sustained weight loss. Your dedication and commitment to your plan will determine your outcomes
Do you use GLP-1s?
GLP-1s, such as Ozempic, provide immediate results, but at significant cost to the users. There is still a lot to be learned about the long-term side effects of these drugs, but early indications give us great concern. There are reports of vision loss, muscle wasting disease, and other significant and permanent side effects. We believe this is the wrong way to approach weight loss
