About Early Treatment Care

After 5 years of Covid circulation, there are still zero approved treatment options for standard-risk patients who develop acute Covid, yet some researchers suggest anywhere from 10-35% of patients go on to develop post-viral complications. Paxlovid was determined to be ineffective for patients under 65 and in those who were vaccinated. The guidance continues to be “wait and see”, to those considered standard-risk. Additionally, the spike protein related immunosuppression we have witnessed in the greater population, especially mRNA vaccinated patients, has made Flu and RSV infections more serious in traditionally low risk populations

After 3 years of treating patients for various viral illnesses, including Covid, Flu, and RSV, we have developed world-renowned expertise in the early treatment and management of acute stages of illness. Our providers constantly update guidance based upon current strains and “viruses of the month” that seem to pop up at all times of the year these days.

Provider Appointments

Our Early Treatment/Meds On Hand appointments are for patients seeking guidance and prescriptions for prophylaxis and situations of acute viral illness. This “emergency” guidance and preparation ensures patients are prepared if they are exposed to someone acutely ill, or come down with acute viral illness themselves. Our providers are constantly updating their guidance for current viral strains. Prescription refills are good for 12 months.

Evidence-Based Treatment

As mentioned, the wait and see approach for patients suffering in the early stages of acute viral illnesses, such as Covid, has been detrimental to outcomes. Our approach using repurposed, broad-spectrum antiviral drugs is backed by a considerable totality of evidence. A good resource for summary of this evidence is the IMA (formerly FLCCC) I-CARE Covid, Flu, and RSV protocol documents. One thing to note about the IMA protocols, versus what we may suggest to a patient, is that we have more up-to-date guidance (dosage, selected treatments) based upon clinical observation.

Pricing

The Acute Viral Illness care program for Covid, Flu, and RSV includes a 30 minute video appointment with a provider. Prescriptions are good for 12 months. The cost of the appointment is $300

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I obtain the medications you are prescribing?

We work with a trusted compounding pharmacy that mails prescriptions to our patients. After your appointment, your scripts will be sent to the pharmacy. You call the pharmacy to confirm your identity and payment. The medications will be shipped to you via 2 day shipping (unless you request overnight).

Are the prescriptions included in the cost?

No, the prescriptions are a separate cost paid directly to the pharmacy

Why can't you just send me a "kit"?

Some organizations choose to operate this way. We do not send out prescription kits to patients. We believe in having a proper visit with history and other important details. This will ultimately guide the treatment to make it more effective, and reduce the possibility of adverse reactions.

What if I become sick after my appointment?

Patients receive detailed visit summaries that communicate the protocols to be implemented should you become sick. You can simply log into your patient portal to find out what to do in case you do become ill.
