Optimal health begins with healthy cells. The human body is made up of trillions of cells that require sufficient amounts of micronutrients to function and maintain life. Cells become depleted of vital nutrients due to chronic illness, inflammation, and stress which leads to early aging and disease.

We use an intracellular test that evaluates 31 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and their functions of carbohydrate metabolism, immune response and how well cells are handling oxidative stress. Usual serum tests show extracellular (outside the cell) nutrient levels which are affected by daily vitamin intake and only give a snapshot of nutrient levels. The use of intracellular (inside the cell) testing is more accurate showing nutrition status of a 4-6 month time frame. This analysis shows detailed micronutrient deficiencies allowing the clinician to develop a nutrition and vitamin supplement plan that is tailored to fit your physiologic needs.
